This board was made from a reclaimed piece of alder, a rare find and a beautiful wood from a tree that is a member of the birch family. The wood colour ranges from creamy white to flecks of deep orange and this piece has some lovely ‘cat’s paw’ figure towards the bottom. The knot has been filled with a deep red metallic resin.
