Chopping Boards
The majority of our chopping boards are made with the end grain facing up. This orientation provides the most durable surface to cut on, as the knife is not severing the wood fibres as it does on a board where the grain is lying flat across the surface. However, we do also make face grain and edge grain chopping boards, often with strong hardwoods such as mango wood. They just need a little more care and can always be resurfaced when required.
