I found this old reclaimed oak beam at my local wood recycling centre. It had a large split following the grain down one side. I added two side-emitting LED strips and poured three layers of resin into the void, including a white-tinted layer in the centre to diffuse the light. I built the base and added a foot switch to the plug cable. A unique piece - great for showing off your favourite pot plant!
